EMBRUJO BANUS. MARBELLA
The purpose of the project was the design for the construction of a luxury housing complex in one of the best areas of the famous Spanish town of Marbella. The complex consists of 132 luxury homes, plus their corresponding storage rooms and garages, basement services and facilities, social club and a large landscaped common area with swimming pools, fountains and ponds, on a plot of almost 2.5 hectares of total area.
The project is resolved in two linear blocks of apartments, implanted at the same level. These blocks are symmetrical, arranged parallel to the limits of the plot in its longest dimension, with a clearly linear floor plan and meandering terraces, where a program of 2 and 4 bedroom apartments (120 and 12 apartments respectively) is developed, with cross ventilation.
The two symmetrical blocks consist of a ground floor, four floors above ground and an attic floor, with a basement floor dedicated to garage, storage rooms, services and facilities. The penthouse floor contains the program for the larger 4-bedroom homes with a large solarium terrace, while the rest of the floors contain the 2-bedroom homes. The first floor dwellings have direct access to the common area gardens and a larger garden terrace for private use.
